The Radio X DJ, 48, had his fellow campmates entertained earlier this week when he told Owen that he was a "three time UK world champion dancer."

After Owen asked Chris if he was any good at dancing, Chris promptly replied: "Are you joking?" then confidently began listing his fictitious dancing credentials.

Owen Warner seemed intrigued as he asked about what sort of dancing Chris is famously known for, saying: “Is it Ballroom?”

"Everything. Modern, ballroom, jazz, tap,” Chris replied.

The former Radio One Breakfast DJ, also told Owen that he used to do acting work and was in a “musical for Andrew Lloyd Webber, darling.” He then tried to back-up his claims by pretending to play a gangster and put on a deep voice to get into character.

Owen was later seen in the Bush Telegraph, addressing the viewers and praising his “talented” campmate Chris Moyles.

He told viewers: "Chris is a bottomless bucket of talent. He was in a musical, [he has] acting skills, he’s a dancing world champion, he’s a saviour of radio, he was in Jesus Christ [Superstar], like, what can this geezer not do?!"

Chris spoke with fellow campmate Charlene, about his joking antics with the Hollyoaks actor, saying: "He’s a sweetheart, but I reckon I can tell him anything. Do you reckon he’ll fall for this - my dad invented the treadmill?"

The Loose Women host, 42, told Chris that she thinks “he would believe it 110 percent,” but viewers weren’t impressed, with many taking to Twitter to accuse him of “bullying.”

Many slammed Chris Moyle’s for his behaviour towards the young actor, with one saying: "Chris moyles bullying of Owen Warner is not on. He has identified that he can tell him any lie he wants and it will be believed. Just for laughs at Owens expense. Picking on a vulnerability is just a licence for others to follow".

Whilst another wrote: "I don’t like what @ChrisMoyles is doing to @_OwenWarner #ImACeleb it’s controlling bullying [angry face emojis].

"I’m disgusted by Moyles, he thinks it would be funny to feed outrageous lies to the young guy Owen, to see how gullible & dim he is when he swallows every lie he tells. Sniggering about it afterwards & can’t see it’s a form of BULLYING," a third tweeted.

And another chimed in: "I feel like Chris Moyles is bullying Owen.”

Whilst many viewers shared their disapproval of the Radio DJs behaviour there were also some viewers that saw it as a light-hearted joke that others were taking too seriously.

One such viewer tweeted: “Chris Moyles is not bullying Owen, it’s just a bit of leg-pulling, Chris will probably come off worse because he’ll have to do the f*****g charleston at some point! Get a grip people!! #ImaCeleb".

Whilst another wrote:  "I think people just need to stop being snowflakes and stop being so offended by what Chris moyles says and does".
