Hundreds turned out yesterday as the annual Oktoberfest celebrations returned to Leeds.

Drinkers raised their steins at venues across Leeds, including at Kirkstall Brewery and Testbed in Hunslet.

Held at the back end of September each year, the original Oktoberfest festival in Bavaria began in 1810. It now attracts millions of people and is replicated in various events across the world.
