Their crimes include an “entrenched” Leeds paedophile who bought gifts for a 10-year-old girl whom he did not know has been jailed again, with a judge telling him it was “clearly” the start of grooming attempts.
Also sentenced this week was a magic-mushroom dealer who damaged five cars during a high-speed pursuit and a Harehills rioter.
See our gallery below for a full round-up of the criminals locked up at Leeds Crown Court this week...

7. Ronald Nicklin
Ageing paedophile Ronald Nicklin, 78, spent years abusing young girls as young as six. He would make them sit on his knee and touch them, perform oral sex and demand they give him oral sex. He was handed a sentence of more than 19 years at Leeds Crown Court today, with the judge questioning if he would survive long enough to ever be freed. | WYP

8. Ozias Gentles
Ozias Gentles, 25, has been jailed for six years after stabbing a friend in the throat, leaving him with life-threatening injuries. Gentles, who had been taking drugs, began to argue with the victim and it was suggested they “take it outside”, meaning to fight. Once outside, the victim is thought to have hit Gentles with a piece of wood or a stick, then Gentles grabbed a kitchen knife and attacked the man. | WYP

9. Lance Walters
Lance Walters, 33, was high on cannabis when he fled police and smashed into another car at high speed. The judge described his amazement that he was employed by Uber, although he was not thought to be on duty at the time of the incident. He was jailed for 18 months, and banned from driving for three years and nine months. | WYP
