Scottish indie-rock favourites Glasvegas have officially ended their six-year release hiatus, dropping a soaring new single alongside details of a full UK and Ireland tour.
The band released their visceral new track 'Degüello' today - the first taste of their forthcoming sixth studio album Airy Fairy, scheduled for release next April.
It marks their first full-length record since 2021 and heralds a major return to live stages across the country.

The announcement comes nearly two decades after the release of their self-titled, platinum-certified 2008 debut album, which helped define the sound of late-2000s indie with anthems like 'Geraldine', 'Daddy's Gone', and 'Flowers & Football Tops'.
Renowned for their thunderous, atmospheric live performances, the Glasgow quartet have remained notoriously selective about when and where they perform, largely sticking to major festival appearances since wrapping up their European 15th anniversary tour in 2023.
Their 2027 run promises a mix of newly minted material alongside the classic tracks that launched their breakthrough era.

Glasvegas will perform at Brudenell Social Club in Hyde Park on May 9.
The intimate show forms part of the first leg of their Airy Fairy UK and Ireland tour, which kicks off at Glasgow’s O2 Academy before making stops in Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Bristol, London, and an Autumn run across Ireland.
