Ex-Leeds Rhinos academy Grand Final winner who joined Wakefield Trinity signs for Hunslet RLFC

Former Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield Trinity forward Zach McSwiney has returned to Hunslet RLFC.

McSwiney, who has signed a one-year deal with the Parksiders, joined Rhinos’ system from Leeds community club Stanningley midway through 2022. He was a substitute in that season’s under-18s Grand Final win against St Helens – when his teammates included Bailey Aldridge, also signed for Hunslet this week – and also featured in the reserves, but left the club at the end of the following year.
