Leeds United team news vs Bournemouth confirmed with shock first Premier League start and surprise absence
Daniel Farke has confirmed his Leeds United starting-XI to face Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke has confirmed his Leeds United team to face Bournemouth with Daniel James handed a first Premier League start of the season.
The Whites are due at the Vitality Stadium this afternoon for another difficult Premier League clash. Hosts Bournemouth have won their last five games without conceding, the most recent a 3-0 Carabao Cup win over Aston Villa on Wednesday.
Leeds last played on Sunday - a 0-0 draw at Sunderland - and have therefore had a full week to rest and recover. Farke has now confirmed his line-up for this afternoon’s south coast clash with two changes from the team that started last weekend.

James Trafford keeps his place in goal after playing a crucial role in last weekend’s clean sheet, his third of the season in the Premier League. Ahead of him, Nico Elvedi returns to the heart of defence alongside Tarik Muharemovic and James Justin.
The trio are flanked by Jayden Bogle and James Justin on the right and left respectively, with Farke opting for a midfield pair. Club captain Ethan Ampadu is joined by Ao Tanaka in the middle of the park which is expected to be a key battleground.
Leeds have struggled to create much from open play in recent weeks and Farke will hope his attacking selection injects some life into the final third. After a positive week of training, Dominic Calvert-Lewin starts upfront with Harry Wilson keeping his place while James is on the other flank.
There is no place for Noah Okafor in the squad but Anton Stach, a doubt during the week, is fit enough for a place on the substitute’s bench. He’s joined by the likes of Sean Longstaff, Jean-Matteo Bahoya and Lukas Nmecha.
