Gorka then complained that he had lost his legs, to which the mother-of-three responded: “It’s really rewarding though when you’re broken as well.”

The Jive is an energetic and upbeat dance, which includes lots of kicking and spinning. The dance style originated in the United States in the early 1930’s.

Gorka explained that “eight hours of jive is quite intense”, before adding that the “routine is looking good” and they are “having fun doing it”.

Helen said: “It’s a good song, it’s a good routine, good hat work, and I just need pointier feet.”

Today, Gorka admitted that he has had two coffees to fuel their third day of rehearsals.

“Building up to jive,” Helen said.

Gorka continued: “Having some caffiene, loads of caffiene.”

He joked about having had seven cups of coffee, before revealing that two is enough and they have mentally prepared for rehearsals.
