Leeds bus diversions: All route changes and cancellations ahead of Jane Tomlinson 10K Run

Bus services may be either suspended or taking alternative routes this weekend as Leeds prepares to host the yearly Jane Tomlinson 10K Run.

Over the last 15 years the Leeds 10K has grown to become one of the highlights of the city’s events calendar, and is a hugely popular, inclusive and supported race for participants of all abilities.

Metro has advised that every effort has been made to keep disruption to a minimum, but areas of Northwest Leeds including Hyde Park, Headingley, Little London, Meanwood, and Woodhouse will be severely affected.

Services 1, 5A, 6, 8, 14, 15, 19, 19A, 27, 28, 29, 33, 34, 38, 39, 42, 49, 50, 50A, 55C, 75, 56, 60, 72, 91, 508, 874, 876, X6, X84 & X99 will all be diverted. Normal service will resume as roads re-open.

Elsewhere Crab Lane, Armley will remain closed due to roadworks with the 15 service diverting while the 16 service will also divert as a result of Intake Lane, Bramley being closed.

In Headingley, Otley Road and Shaw Lane Junction will be closed between 11pm and 6am between Tuesday and Friday. Services 1, 6, 8, 27, 28, 91 & X84 will all divert.

Stop Wellington Q on King Street in Leeds City Centre will remain closed this week due to roadworks. As a result services 14, 15 & 42 will depart from stop Wellington C on Wellington Street, services 33, 34, 60 & 508 will depart from stop City Square F on Park Row and service A1 will depart from stop Station B on Boar Lane.
