and live on Freeview channel 276
“It’s the wildest, funnest ride. It’s a massive challenge in the best possible way and sometimes I think when your an adult it’s good to challenge yourself,” Helen said.
Helen is currently rehearsing for the Strictly quarter finals, which is taking place this Friday ( 2 December) as the World Cup is on Saturday.
Lorraine explained to viewers that Helen will soon be swapping her “heels for her wellies and your sequins for your woolly jumpers” as a news series of Winter on the Farm live starts Monday 5th December on Channel 5.
Helen said: “Please bring back my wellies. I honestly say to Gorka all the time ‘If I could do this in wellies it would be so much easier’, you get much more hip action if you’ve got a flat foot”.
‘Live: Winter on the Farm’ is filmed at Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire. Helen presents the show alongside Jules Hudson as they prepare the animals for the most magical time of year.
Describing the show to Lorraine, Helen said: “It’s chaos in the most perfect way”.
Lorraine admitted that when she watched the show last year she thought Helen may have gone into labour there and then.
The former Blue Peter star was eight and a half months pregnant at the time with her daughter Elsie, who is now 11 months old.
Helen also has two sons Ernie, seven, Louis, five with ex-husband and rugby player Richie Myler.
Helen said that her professional dance partner would love to do “Strictly Come Farming”, but she warned him to be careful what he wishes for.
If she and Gorka Márquez get through to the finals of Strictly they will be juggling “dancing in the day and cows sheep and horses at night”.
Lorraine joked that there would be a TV executive somewhere commissiong the Strictly come Farming right now.
Live: Winter On The Farm starts Monday 5 December at 8pm on Channel 5 and the Christmas special will be on Tuesday 20 December.
