Armed police deployed in Dewsbury after BMW linked to suspected armed robbery spotted

Four people have been arrested after armed police were deployed to a street in Dewsbury.
At 10.25pm last night (Tuesday, November 25), police received a report of a vehicle in the Pontefract area which was identified as being linked to a crime where a firearm was allegedly used.
Armed officers were deployed to locate the BMW, which was sighted in Healds Road, Dewsbury a short time later.
Four men were arrested on suspicion of robbery and the vehicle was seized, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson has confirmed.
Enquiries are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact police.
