Noah Okafor & Joe Rodon latest: Daniel Farke provides Leeds United team news in pre-Tottenham press conference
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke will provide an update on his team this afternoon.
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke will speak with the media this afternoon ahead of Saturday’s Premier League meeting with Tottenham Hotspur.
The Whites welcome Spurs to Elland Road on Saturday lunchtime looking to bounce back from just their second league defeat of the season last time out. Farke’s side lost 2-0 at in-form Bournemouth, a third game in five during which they have failed to score.
Leeds’ attacking issues were not helped by the surprise absence of Noah Okafor, who reported an adductor issue in the final training session before last weekend’s trip to Bournemouth. Expect an update on the speedy winger later today.

And we’ll get the latest on Joe Rodon too, the defender approaching 10 weeks since his hamstring injury against Brentford. Having been called up to the Wales squad for the upcoming international break after a return to training, his comeback feels close.
Expect Farke to be asked about that Wales call-up as well, with two games in four days a potential concern should Rodon start both. The Leeds boss isn’t likely to go against Craig Bellamy’s decision but it will be interesting to see if any conversations have been had.
Rodon’s potential return would leave Farke with some big defensive decisions to make, given the Welshman’s previously ever-present status. James Justin has been excellent in his place while Nico Elvedi has settled into the central role brilliantly - is there any need for change?
Farke will also hope to be able to lean on Okafor with Leeds struggling in the final third. Attacking issues will be a talking point again this afternoon with the potential for a change or two, including Sean Longstaff whose attacking impetus has been encouraging off the bench.
It’s an early kick-off on Saturday and Leeds have dropped points in their last 21 Premier League games starting before 3pm - a run stretching back to August 2022. That quite incredible record could be put to Farke this afternoon to see what might be the cause.
Like Bournemouth last weekend, visitors Tottenham head into their game against Leeds in good form having won their last three in the league. Expect Farke to be asked about opposite number Roberto De Zerbi and how he plans to try and end their run of results.
Daniel Farke is due to speak with the media at 1.30pm. Stay tuned for live updates...
