Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Awards shortlist features Leeds finalists Silver's Deli and Sqew

It's one of the highlights of the culinary calendar, showcasing more than 40 cuisines and offering an investment of £100,000 to the overall winner.
This year, it's promised the event will be bigger than ever, as chef, television and radio broadcaster Andi Oliver joins the esteemed judging panel.

Hide AdFinalists are invited to create a “hero dish” for the panel of expert judges, who will decide the winner of the top prize. Regional winners will also be offered a £5,000 prize, alongside a support package to help accelerate their growth.
Among the regional finalists in Yorkshire are Leeds restaurants Silver's Deli, Sqew Shawarma Bar, and Mythos.
Silver’s Deli opened on Stanningley Road in Bramley last year and quickly became a hotspot for foodies in the city.

Hide AdIt serves sandwiches that are bursting with flavour, all of which have been cooked in-house with fresh ingredients. Rate My Takeaway star Danny Malin described it as among his “top spots”.
Sqew, located on Duncan Street, had been in the making for nine years - and opened to the public in November 2021 serving shawarma, falafel and halloumi dishes.
Three years later, Sqew picked up the award for Best Lebanese Restaurant or Takeaway in the UK at the British Kebab Awards 2024. Our critic said it serves “Middle Eastern cuisine that far exceeds any I’ve had elsewhere in Leeds”.
Meanwhile, Mythos opened its first bar and restaurant on Stainbeck Lane in Chapel Allerton just over a year ago. It boasts an impressive 4.8 our of five stars on Google, with one customer saying they enjoyed the “best Greek food I've ever had”.
