Craig, who lives in Sheffield, joined Amazon in 2016 after serving in the British Army. Looking for a new challenge that would allow him to spend more time with his family while continuing to build a rewarding career, he says Amazon's entrepreneurial culture and strong focus on leadership made it a natural next step.

Craig began his Amazon career as a Delivery Station Manager, where he helped to launch a new delivery station in Leeds. Over the following nine years, he progressed through a series of leadership roles across the business, supporting site launches, leading operational improvements and delivering projects across the UK and Europe.

Alongside his operational responsibilities, Craig has led several business improvement initiatives across Amazon Logistics. These include introducing fixed shift patterns for around 38,000 associates across the UK and developing the "We Hear You" driver feedback programme, helping to shape future driver engagement across the network.

Throughout his career, Craig has been passionate about developing future leaders, supporting colleagues to progress their careers and championing a coaching culture across the teams he has led.

Speaking about his new role, Craig said: "What I enjoy most is working with people and helping them develop. I've always found it incredibly rewarding to coach others and support them in progressing their careers. I've seen people join Amazon in entry-level roles and grow into senior leadership positions. Being able to play a part in that journey is something I'm really proud of.

"Amazon gives people opportunities based on their potential. If I can help someone build their confidence, develop their skills and achieve something they didn't think was possible, that's a really fulfilling part of my job."

Speaking about the opportunities available at Amazon, Craig added: "The opportunities at Amazon are incredible. Whether it's working in different business areas, moving into leadership roles or even taking opportunities overseas, there are so many different career paths available.

"My advice to anyone considering joining Amazon is to stay open to those opportunities. If you're willing to learn, challenge yourself and step outside your comfort zone, there's no limit to where your career can take you."

Amazon's Wakefield fulfilment centre plays an important role in the company's UK logistics network, helping to deliver customer orders across the UK, while providing employment opportunities and career development for local people.
