Positioned as a direct response to modern digital culture, the show sees Hanson making the case for manners, correct table settings, and thank-you letters in an age dominated by gym bros, alpha males, and "business" podcasts.

Described as part memoir, part variety show, and part public service, The Mannersphere reflects on the state of modern manners while tracing Hanson’s journey into etiquette - from a teenager inventing his own genre of "camp crime" murder mysteries to publishing his debut novel, A Fatal Forking.

The comic murder mystery, set for publication on 13 May 2027 just ahead of the tour, follows young etiquette expert Maximus Glyde as he investigates the murder of a Grand Duchess killed with his own strawberry fork. It follows the success of Hanson's 2024 Sunday Times bestseller, Just Good Manners.

As Director of etiquette training institute The English Manner, Hanson is widely regarded as the UK's leading authority on decorum. He is also known to millions as the co-host of the award-winning podcast Help I Sexted My Boss alongside Jordan North, as well as The Luxury Podcast with Jonathan Vernon-Smith.

His nationwide live tour begins at Birmingham Town Hall on May 20 before visiting Edinburgh, London, Bristol, and Salford, ahead of its final night in West Yorkshire.
