Everything you need to know about the Trinity Leeds Santa Dash this Christmas
The dash will commence at 9am on December 6 outside of Trinity Leeds
Hundreds of Santas are set to take over Leeds city centre this Christmas for the return of the festive 5K fun run, raising vital funds for Leeds Hospitals Charity.
The Trinity Leeds Santa Dash will take place on Sunday, December 6 at 9am, bringing together families, friends and colleagues for a festive celebration all while raising money for charity.
The event invites people of all ages and abilities to pull on a Santa suit and take part, whether they are starting a new family tradition, enjoying a day out with friends or taking on a workplace challenge.
Organisers say the dash will see thousands of participants fill the city streets, creating a festive atmosphere while supporting Leeds Hospitals Charity.
Tristan Batley-Kyle, Operations Director at Jane Tomlinson's Run For All, said:
“If you’re looking for one event to add to your Christmas calendar this year, make it the Trinity Leeds Santa Dash.
"With thousands of Santas filling the city streets, an incredible atmosphere and the chance to support Leeds Hospitals Charity, there’s no better way to kick-start the Christmas season while giving something back to your local community.”
Although there is no mandatory minimum sponsorship pledge required to enter, all runners and families taking part are encouraged to raise money for Leeds Hospitals Charity to help bring hope, comfort, and care to hospital bedsides across the city this Christmas.
Organisers are also seeking volunteers to help on the day with cheering, route marshalling, and assisting runners.
Registration is open now via the Leeds Hospitals Charity and Run For All websites. For entry details or volunteering opportunities, contact the events team on 0113 539 7020 or by email.
