Lunt has coaching experience with Pennine League club Mirfield and said on social media he is “unbelievably proud” to be assisting Walker. He added: [It is] such a massive honour to come back to Leeds and help with the next generation of stars.”

Walker coached Rhinos’ reserves to top spot on the table and a Grand Final victory this year. He was also in charge of the academy who were runners up in the league and title decider. Former Leeds player Simon Brown will take over as under-18s boss next season with Walker remaining at the helm of the second-string.
