Leeds United defeated A-League side Brisbane Roar at the Cbus Super Stadium on Thursday courtesy of first-half goals from Daniel James and Joe Gelhardt.
The Australian side pegged Leeds back but were unable to find a leveller as United’s pre-season tour Down Under got off to a winning start.
Leeds wore their new home shirt for the first time as Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Darko Gyabi, Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams all made their unofficial debuts for the club.
Here are Graham Smyth’s full-time player ratings for the Whites.

Couldn't get much going and never really got into the game to impact it in a significant way. (Photo by Albert Perez/Getty Images) Photo: Albert Perez
14. Darko Gyabi - 6
A couple of nice moments where he used the pace on the ball to deceive a defender. A quiet performance in a tame second half. (Photo by Albert Perez/Getty Images) Photo: Albert Perez
15. Tyler Adams - 6
Pressed well and added energy but was unable to add much in possession. Didn't entirely get to grips with O'Shea in the Roar midfield. (Photo by Albert Perez/Getty Images) Photo: Albert Perez
16. Leif Davis - 7
Enjoyed lots of involvement, got forward well and linked up effectively. Couldn't get free enough to create something telling (Photo by Bradley Kanaris/Getty Images) Photo: Bradley Kanaris
17. Mateusz Klich - 6
Lots of running into space to seek the ball or to create space. Tried to make things happen but not a great deal came off. (Photo by Bradley Kanaris/Getty Images) Photo: Bradley Kanaris
18. Cody Drameh
Defended well, attacked well enough. A couple of untidy moments aside he ensured the right hand side remained solid and dangerous after Kristensen departed. (Photo by Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA/Getty Images) Photo: Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA
