Leeds United defeated A-League side Brisbane Roar at the Cbus Super Stadium on Thursday courtesy of first-half goals from Daniel James and Joe Gelhardt.
The Australian side pegged Leeds back but were unable to find a leveller as United’s pre-season tour Down Under got off to a winning start.
Leeds wore their new home shirt for the first time as Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Darko Gyabi, Luis Sinisterra and Tyler Adams all made their unofficial debuts for the club.
Here are Graham Smyth’s full-time player ratings for the Whites.

One or two flashes of his skill and balance but it was a difficult second half for Leeds' attackers. Didn't get much going.. (Photo by Alex Morton/Getty Images) Photo: Alex Morton
21. Patrick Bamford - 7
A little rusty as expected. Fashioned a chance out of nothing, was in the right place to attempt a couple of headers and come close to a goal. (Photo by George Wood/Getty Images) Photo: George Wood
22. Archie Gray - N/A
On very late in the game but got involved, tried to get on the ball and pass forward. Got stuck in too. (Photo by Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA/Getty Images) Photo: Robbie Jay Barratt - AMA
23. Diego Llorente - 7
