Leeds United are set for a string of interesting reunions over the coming weeks as former players turn out for Premier League opponents. Daniel Farke’s side welcome Bournemouth and Tottenham Hotspur to Elland Road over the next fortnight, both of whom boast ex-Whites midfielders within their ranks.
Elland Road is not the most forgiving environment and returning players deemed to have wronged the club by fans will certainly know where they stand. Those same supporters remain loyal and appreciative of others to have worn the famous white shirt, however, with chants of ‘you’re Leeds, and you know you are’ expected at different points of the season.
All in all, 15 former Leeds stars could play a part in their respective team’s trip to LS11 between now and May, with some very interesting returns on the horizon. Below, the YEP takes a look at when those particular players are due back.

13. Lewie Coyle - Hull City (March 3)

14. Darko Gyabi - Hull City (March 3)
Three years at Leeds, following his £5m move from Manchester City, brought just five appearances and he joined Hull on a free last summer. Another decent squad player for the Tigers. | Stephen Pond/Getty Images

15. Cody Drameh - Hull City (March 3)
Signed for Leeds as a promising youngster in 2021 but only enjoyed a handful of appearances and was shipped out on loan three times. Joined Hull permanently in 2024 and has been a decent squad player.

16. Pascal Struijk - Brighton (March 13)

17. Georginio Rutter - Brighton (March 13)
The Frenchman opted to stay in the Championship following relegation in 2023 and became a fan-favourite but failure to go up saw him move on for £40m a year later. It's been a mixed picture on the south coast amid reports of some frustration over a lack of football. Photo: Gareth Copley

18. Chris Wood - Nottingham Forest (April 10)
Enjoyed two good campaigns at Leeds between 2015 and 2017 before a move to the Premier League with Burnley. Spent much of last season out injured but could thrive under new boss Oliver Glasner. Photo: OLI SCARFF
