Pre-match duties done
The Premier League pre-match anthem really is dreadful. Anyway, the coin toss is ongoing... updates to follow next.
Early tangle
2. Bamford and Tarkowski are already at it. United’s number nine hits the deck off the ball and is claiming an arm was used. Referee Michael Oliver has a word and we’re back underway. Leeds knocking it around in the early stages.
Leeds pressure
4. Early pressure from the Whites. Bamford charges down a clearance. Looks like he might be able to keep it in play on the far side but he just can’t. Leeds dominating the ball - nothing much to write home about really. Still feeling our way into this one.
Burnley live dangerously
5. The Clarets try to knock it around at the back. Harrison and Bamford are applying pressure. Tarkowski has to take a few touches out of his feet and the home crowd is nervous. He just gets there first to clear the ball, though. Good pressing from Leeds.
Leeds free-kick
7. Meslier clears a Burnley ball over the top. Tarkowski goes through Bamford inside the hosts half - that’s going to be a battle to watch this afternoon. Leeds take it short and carry on.
Leeds attack
8. The first time United have stretched the hosts. Leeds break over halfway through Raphinha. He finds Rodrigo, then it’s to Harrison down the left. The ball comes back to Raphinha on the edge and his low shot is blocked by a retreating Burnley defender.
Burnley chance
10. Ayling is caught on the ball by McNeil in his own final third. The winger sprints into the box amid roars from the home crowd. His low ball for Wood, though, is hooked away by Cooper in the six-yard box. Got away with that one.
Leeds attack
11. United spring a counter straight away with Burnley caught short. Raphinha is down the right, he tries an early ball for Bamford who is at the back post but Pope is out to catch it.
Leeds attack
13. It’s end to end stuff. Rodrigo leaves his man in a heap on the floor as he tries to run at Burnley. He spreads the ball out to Harrison, who finds Phillips. Bamford is in space in the box but his low shot is dragged wide from a tight angle. Raphinha couldn’t quite get there to keep it in, either.
