  • RESULT - BURNLEY 1-1 LEEDS UNITED

15. Rodrigo guilty of a poor giveaway a minute or two ago that left Phillips with a lot of defensive work/pressing to do. Leeds then come the other way and he plays a short ball to Harrison but it’s overhit and out of play. Need to be a bit sharper in the final third, there.

17. Phillips leaves one on McNeil on halfway. The ball had just gone as he arrived. Play goes on before Burnley win a free-kick on the near side. The home crowd weren’t happy with Phillips tackle and neither was Sean Dyche. No booking, though.

19. Good work from Bamford. Leeds defend a free-kick well as Meslier come to claim a long ball in. He sets Ayling free, who finds Raphinha. A lovely flick then gives Bamford the chance to sprint at Burnley and he’s taken down by a mistimed slide tackle. Browhill booked.

21. It’s whipped into the box and Cooper is there. The header is soft though and collected by Pope in goal.

22. Burnley get down the left through Taylor. His cross is blocked by Llorente, and the ball flies behind for a throw-in.

Wood and Llorente clash

22. Wood goes down as Llorente grabs hold at the corner but Michael Oliver seemed to indicate the corner should be taken again. The two have a good talking too from the match official.

23. After all that... Leeds clear the ball away as Harrison hooks it clear. Llorente then wins a free-kick in his own half after a shove. It’s getting a bit feisty this one, the crowd are really getting into it.

25. Leeds fail to clear their lines. Cooper tries to pass out and his ball to Bamford is intercepted. Barnes is fouled in response and Burnley win themselves a set-piece. The game has really picked up pace in the last few minutes.

Burnley score... but it’s ruled out

27. Burnley have the ball in the net from the set-piece. The home fans miss the whistle and celebrate a goal as Mee lashes in the loose ball as the cross comes in. Ayling was sent flying, free-kick Leeds.

28. Dallas caught as he clears after a scramble in the Leeds area. Visitors playing dangerously here, giving away possession cheaply in their own half. Yellow card for Barnes. Meslier pulled off a good save from Wood just before. Burnely on top, at the minute.
