The odd numbered side of Wainwright Row is visible along the left edge of this view from April 1959. Then moving right is a row of 3 one storey shops. Number 53 on the left is Edwin Ramsey, electrical and radio engineer. In the centre, number 53a is a bakers and confectioners run by Harry Midgley and Sons. To the right number 55 is vacant, although directories list that it had been a dressmakers. Next right the garage or stable set back from the road is number 57 with the side of number 59, belonging to Ken Marsey, a plumber and contractor, visible on the right edge.
