Leeds residents have been enjoying outdoor dining in the sunshine since hospitality reopened on April 12.

Through a mixture of blue skies and sunshine and sunny spells with spouts of cloud throughout, it will be a spring-like weekend.

It will start to feel colder later in the evenings though, with lows of around 2C in the early hours of the mornings.

In Leeds, the sun will set at 8.22pm on Friday, 8.24pm on Saturday, and 8.26pm on Sunday, meaning it will be lighter for longer while eating or drinking outside.

The weekend weather follows a week of warmth - as Leeds has been hotter than a number of sought-after European destinations.
