Amber Cars extends Leeds domination after takeover of Pudsey B-Line
Amber Cars has taken over another small Leeds taxi company.
Amber, Leeds’ largest taxi and private hire vehicle operator, has acquired Pudsey B-Line to further expand its service area across West Yorkshire.
It will mean Amber will have an additional 50 licensed vehicles in west Leeds.
Chris Neary, Amber Cars regional director, said: “This is great news for Pudsey B-Line drivers and their passengers.
"Residents and businesses will benefit from increased capacity, and more ways to book journeys.
"Amber Cars has market-leading technology and excellent service standards.”
Amber Cars has a booking app and the option of paying by either cash or card is available on all bookings.
Customers can still call up to book if they prefer.
Amber Cars, part of the Veezu Group, uses specialist cleaning regimes and has trialled in-vehicle protective screens.
More than 270,000 free face coverings have been made available to drivers since July.
