Leeds United fans warned of car parking, shuttle bus and ticket changes for Brentford match
The Whites kick off their home league campaign against Brentford
Leeds United fans attending the match vs Brentford at Elland Road on Sunday are being warned of a number of changes.
The Whites kick off their home league campaign against Brentford on Sunday afternoon after two encouraging trips to Nottingham Forest in the past week.
Sunday’s meeting will be between two of the top-flight’s bright starters, with visitors Brentford also enjoying back-to-back wins in league and cup.
Ahead of the match, fans are being warned to expect car parking and shuttle bus changes...

Car parking changes
From the start of the 2026/27 season, parking at council car parks must be booked in advance of matchday on a game-by-game basis. There is no longer an option to pay on the day at any council car park, and supporters arriving without a pre-booked space will be turned away.
Spaces are prioritised for current Season Ticket Holders and Members with a valid match ticket, issued on a first-come-first-served basis with a limit of one space per supporter. Spaces for both cars and motorcycles cost £13.00 (includes a £1.00 booking fee).
Parking spaces will be sold via the club’s online ticketing platform, which can be found here. Digital car parking passes will be issued and must be downloaded to your Google Pay (for Android) or Apple Wallet (for iPhone) in advance of matchday and before arriving at Elland Road.
Please ensure your phone is fully charged and your ticket is saved to your wallet before setting off, as screenshots and email confirmations will not be accepted.
Shuttle bus changes
For the upcoming home fixture against Brentford, fans are advised that the usual shuttle bus service from Sovereign Street will be moving to Meadow Lane.
This change will occur for this match only and is due to the weekend’s Leeds Festival, which will be using the coach space on Sovereign Street usually reserved for the matchday service.
Together with Leeds City Council, the club have arranged for signage to be placed on lamp posts directing people to the new location over the river on Meadow Lane. The easiest route is via the recently constructed David Oluwale Bridge.
Fans are encouraged to allow more time for their travel given the change in procedure. Normal service will resume for home matches afterwards, beginning with Newcastle United’s visit to Elland Road on Monday, September 14.
West Stand ticket changes
Due to the redevelopment of the West Stand at Elland Road, there will be a significant change to the way West Stand ticket holders will access the stadium on matchdays throughout the 2026/27 season.
The main West Stand Gate on Elland Road (next to Howard’s) will now be the main access point for away fans only. This will also be the only access point for home supporters with tickets in areas C15, C16 & C17 when an away team fails to sell their full allocation and supporters with designated accessible tickets in the South Stand Lower area FA6. No other supporters will be able to access the West Stand via this route.
All general admission West Stand ticket holders (with the exception of the above) will enter through Entrances 4, 5, and 6. You can access these areas via Gate 4 from Lowfields Road (North East Corner), Gate 2 on Bobby Collins Way (behind the North Stand), or Gate 1 from Bobby Collins Way (North West Corner).
The new external hospitality building is situated behind the North Stand, which is accessed via Bobby Collins Way. Hospitality guests have a designated walking route from the facility to seating in the West Stand. The new North Stand Ticket Office on Lowfields Road will be open. This replaces the former West Stand ticket office.
