Thousands are expected to turnout for Leeds Pride 2026 this weekend.

Leeds is set to be taken over by a sea of colour this weekend as one of the city’s biggest celebrations returns.

Bringing thousands of people together for a weekend of music and entertainment, Leeds Pride will be taking over the city centre across Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19.

As a result there will be a number of road closures and bus diversions in place across both days. Here’s everything you need to know...

When and where is the parade taking place?

The Leeds Pride 2026 parade will leave from outside Leeds Town Hall at 12.30pm on Sunday and weave its way through city streets, to The Calls.

Taking much of the same route as last year, the parade will go along the Headrow, before turning onto Vicar Lane, New York Street and Kirkgate, before finishing on Lower Briggate.

What roads will be closed?

Lower Briggate will be closed from 5am on Saturday until 5am on Monday for the Freedom Party.

A number of rolling road closures will be in place as a result, and with the exception of the first Monday morning journeys for service 12, only weekend bus services will be affected.
