All Leeds road closures and bus diversions for Remembrance Sunday
Leeds will once again fall silent on Remembrance Sunday
Dozens of bus services are set to face diversions this weekend as Leeds prepares to pay its respects on Remembrance Sunday.
This year’s act of remembrance will once again be held at Victoria Gardens on Sunday, November 8.
At 10.50am, a procession of dignitaries will leave Leeds Civic Hall, behind a parade of ex-servicemen and women, veterans’ organisations, and current serving military personnel, who will lead a march from Rossington Street to the war memorial.
A number of bus services are set to be diverted as a result of the Remembrance parade.
Road closures
The parade through Leeds city centre will take place between 10am and 12.30pm on Remembrance Sunday. Parts of the Headrow will be closed to traffic and bus services will be diverted during this event.
There will also be a service of remembrance held at the Leeds Minister. Services 4, 4F, 16, 16A and 40 will be diverting between 11.30am and 12.15pm.
