March saw Leeds Bradford Airport come under fire as they struggled with lengthening security queues due to an increase in passenger numbers following the pandemic.
In July, the city and West Yorkshire mourned following the murder of beloved Castleford teacher Abi Fisher while in November the city raised a glass to fundraising efforts of Leeds Rhinos legend Kevin Sinfield.
