How Leeds United have inspired an international fanbase - the YEP says
There is something rather remarkable about the reach of the beautiful game.
Its ability to transform lives and create a sense of unity and community transcends beyond the boundaries of the football pitch.
Take lifelong Leeds United fan and musician Jinder Jade, who features in today’s Yorkshire Evening Post.
His love of the club has seen him co-write and record the first Leeds United Punjabi song - and he is already proving to be a worldwide hit. He said: “Leeds have got a diverse community of fans all over the world.”

And that is ever more evident as the celebrations continue across the globe to honour the club’s return to the top flight of football.
Over the last week alone this newspaper has heard from fans in America right through to Australia, sharing their love and passion for a club that they hold so dear to their hearts.
That Leeds United’s fanbase stretches so far and wide speaks volumes about the history, passion and enthusiasm shared by supporters.
