Watch the moment police uncover cocaine hidden in huge wheels of Gouda cheese
The gang smuggled cocaine in wheels of Gouda and chocolate spread
Footage released by the police shows the shocking moment officers uncovered bricks of cocaine - hidden in massive wheels of Gouda cheese.
The discovery followed a huge operation by West Yorkshire Police to take down a drugs gang, the largest drugs operation in the force’s history.
The investigation started after cocaine and ecstasy worth £2 million was seized in Leeds in 2023, after a car was stopped in East End Park.

It prompted West Yorkshire Police to uncover a sophisticated distribution network.
Drugs with a total street value of more than £450 million were taken in shrink-wrapped pallets of cheese to Dover before being supplied throughout the north of England.
The organisation later used chocolate spread and frozen fish mince to hide the drugs.
Video from body-worn police cameras, which you can watch above, shows the moment police cut into the cheese and uncovered the class A drugs stashed inside.
On Friday, three of the 18 people convicted for their roles in the conspiracy were jailed at Leeds Crown Court.
Eight people had already been jailed for their roles in the conspiracy earlier this year, and a further four were sentenced earlier this week.
Three other defendants will be sentenced at a later date.
