Their crimes include a careless driver who was seen hitting speeds 20 mph over the limit moments before striking and killing a much-loved grandad in Leeds.
Also sentenced at Leeds Crown Court this week, was a convicted paedophile who approached an 11-year-old girl with his trousers, hours after being released from prison.

1. Reece Manley
Unlicensed and uninsured motorbike rider Reece Manley was seen hitting speeds 20 mph over the limit moments before he knocked down and killed much-loved grandad Alan Lloyd on the A6110 Beeston Ring Road towards Wortley. The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to causing the 75-year-old's death by careless driving two days into his trial and was jailed for 14 months. | WYP
2. Corey Stevens
Violent boyfriend Corey Stevens, who was ordered to stay away from his ex partner threatened to kill her and her family, chillingly telling her he would get her even if he was jailed. The 24-year-old, who was previously jailed for beating an ex partner, admitted two charges of assault, strangulation and harassment by putting a person in fear of violence. 3. Christian Allan
Violent burglar Christian Allan was jailed for 23-and-a-half-months after he smashed his way into his ex’s home, attacking her with a saw and threw a kettle of boiling water towards her. The court heard how the 31-year-old broke down the woman's door, grabbing her by the hair and throwing her into a wall. 4. Harry Barker
Pervert Harry Barker lied about his age and spent a month sending sickening comments to a 13-year-old girl on Facebook, telling her he wanted to take her to a Airbnb and to bring condoms and sweets. The 34-year-old thought he was talking to a youngster, but it was a profile run by an undercover police officer. 5. Jake Regan
Paedophile Jake Regan cried as he was jailed for five years and six months after he sent vile messages to young girls. The 33-year-old was arrested after the parents of a 12-year-old girl found sexual messages on her phone. In the space of a day, he made sickening suggestions over Snapchat about getting her pregnant. 6. Fiaz Ali
A brave young woman who was abused from a young age has told Leeds Crown Court that she “wants her life back” after her attacker Fiaz Ali was jailed for four-and-a-half years. The sick 54-year-old, who spent years touching and groping the girl, was found guilty of five counts of sexual assault after a trial.
