Morley police catch three youths with knives after young person threatened

Police caught three youths in possession of knives after receiving a call that another youth had been threatened.

On Friday, August 9, officers received a call that the child was threatened with a knife on Adwalton Moor, near to the library.

Morley officers passed the scene and saw young people matching the suspect description.

All three were found with knives in their possession.

They have been charged and will appear in court.

In an update on Facebook, the Leeds South police team said: "On Friday 9th AUGUST 2019 a call was received that a youth had been threatened with a knife on Adwalton moor near the library.

"Officers from Morley NPT were passing and sighted youths matching the suspect description.

"Three youths were detained. colleagues from patrol teams were also in attendance.

"All 3 youths were all found to be in possession of knives.

"They have all subsequently been charged to court."
