As we step into August, the team at Dogs Trust Leeds are hoping to match a whole new wave of lovely rescue dogs with their forever families.
We’ve taken a look at the rehoming centre’s latest lineup - filtering out those who have already had their adoption applications reserved, while bringing back a few familiar faces and long-stay pups who are still holding out for their big break.
From lively young collies and energetic spaniels to affectionate greyhounds, gentle giants, and snuggly seniors, here are 20 adorable pooches currently waiting for a fresh start and a loving home in Leeds.
Will you be able to open your home for one of them this month?

7. Pippin (French Bulldog Cross)
Pippin is a lovely eight-month-old French Bulldog Crossbreed who is looking for his forever home. He's a little shy when you first meet him, but he soon comes round with a little space, and a few tasty treats! Once he's comfortable with you you'll see what a fun, playful and snuggly boy he really is. He's fine around other dogs, but can be choosey about who he interacts with. | Dogs Trust Leeds
