Ivy Asia Leeds launches Christmas afternoon tea and luxury dessert with Champagne Laurent-Perrier

Ivy Asia Leeds opened last month after an extravagant launch party, with guests including Leeds United players Robin Koch and Mateusz Klich, Emmerdale stars, The Apprentice winner Sian Gabbidon and Leeds chef Michael O’Hare.

The Vicar Lane restaurant has now partnered with Champagne Laurent-Perrier to launch a ‘advent calendar’ dessert, new cocktail and afternoon tea for Christmas. The dessert, The Festive Surprise, is a chocolate brownie with white chocolate snow, mandarin sorbet and yuzu caramel. It’s designed to be an interactive advent calendar experience offering customers the opportunity to win Champagne-inspired gifts each day.

One winner who orders The Festive Surprise will receive the Golden Ticket. This grand prize will include a deluxe trip for two people to visit to Laurent-Perrier Maison, typically unopened to the public, in the Champagne region of Northwestern France.

The new Laurent-Perrier x The Ivy Asia cocktail, the Pink Kurisumasu, is priced at £17.95. It’s made of passion fruit liqueur, supasawa, pink grapefruit syrup and topped with Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé.

The Champagne Laurent-Perrier x The Ivy Asia Afternoon Tea will set visitors back £39.95 and includes handmade aromatic duck spring rolls, steaming vegetable dumplings and hand-rolled ripe avocado maki rolls. There’s also a selection of Japanese mochi, with fresh mini chocolate samurai and warm passionfruit and coconut doughnuts.

From November 16, the Ivy Asia’s signature blossom trees will be given a theatrical festive twist. The Champagne Laurent-Perrier experience begins on Thursday December 1 until Thursday December 24.
