Tributes have poured in from Yorkshire Evening Post readers for Kate Granger

Hanna Raja: Really sad news. Such an inspirational, compassionate and brave lady supported by an equally brave husband. I remember when Dr Granger’s idea of the “Hello my name is” badge was rolled out to us at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. I thought it was such a fantastic idea that I applied for my badge there and then. I wear it on my lab coat with pride and will continue to do so as well as remembering to introduce myself to whoever I come across.

Penny Allen: Wonderful lady ! Fantastic work ‘ Hello my name is’ Kate and her husband were regular attendees at the Yorkshire Cancer Centre Ball each year. What a wonderful and strong couple... RIP Dr Kate Granger.
