Four schools are fully closed, while 18 others have been forced to close individual year groups.

Thousands of people in Leeds have signed a petition to close all schools in the UK and the Health Secretary said the issue is being kept 'under review'.

Abbey Grange CofE Academy - Closed to Years 8, 9 and 12 due to reduced staff numbers.

Allerton Grange High School - School is only open for Years 7, 8, 11 and 13, plus children of parents who are working in the NHS

Bishop Young Church of England Academy (formerly DYCA) - Only open to students in years 7, 10 and 11.

Crawshaw Academy - Closed to Years 8 and 9 due to high levels of staff absence.

Guiseley School - Closed to Years 8, 9 and 10 due to staff self-isolating and hygiene protocols.

Lighthouse Free School Academy, Special School - Fully closed due to staff absence linked to coronavirus self isolation.

Pudsey Grangefield School - Only open to Year 7, 11 and 13 students and all children whose parents work in the healthcare profession.

Ralph Thoresby High School - Closed to Year 8 and 9.

St Mary's Menston Catholic Voluntary Academy - Closed to Year 9 and 12 due to staff self-isolating.

Woodkirk Academy - Partially closed for Year 12 only - certain subjects for Year 12 will still be going ahead (see school website).

Bankside Primary School - Fully closed due to numbers of staff needing to self isolate.

Carlton Primary School - Fully closed including nursery due to insufficent staffing linked to coronavirus isolation and the protection of staff with underlying health conditions.

Ebor Gardens Primary Academy - School is open for Years 2, 3 and 6 ONLY until further notice, due to a number of staff being advised to self-isolate.
