6. City Varieties Music Hall
For a truly unique wedding, our readers recommended Leeds' oldest working theatre in the city centre. Clarrie Ramsden shared her wedding story, along with a picture of her big day. She said: "We got married on the Stage of Leeds City Varieties. We put on a variety show, and got married in the middle of it. We did the legal bit, the registrar was in tears! Then our friend Professor Eek did our handfasting and brush jumping. It was magical. Then we went to the Duck and Drake, we'd met there a year and a day earlier. Pub piano, and our favourite band. Ace day." Photo: Clarrie Ramsden
