This year, the Wetherby 10K takes place on Sunday, September 6. It is a flat and scenic route that attracts both club and social runners alike and is Gold-Graded by the British Association of Road Races. The day will also include a Mini-Marathon - a fun 1.6-mile run.

NicK Wallhead, Wetherby 10k race director, at Wetherby Runners AC, said:  “We work hard to bring this event to Wetherby every year, and our runners are always incredibly supportive, helping to make it such a success.

"Sponsorship is vital for us and our fundraising and so we thank Taylor Wimpey for its support.”

This year, Wetherby Runners AC is supporting the Leeds Hospitals Charity, which supports NHS staff by funding life-saving equipment, treatments, research into rare diseases and home comforts.

Sam Evans, sales and marketing rirector at Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, said: “We are thrilled to be able to support this year’s Wetherby 10k race.

“At Taylor Wimpey, we are dedicated to supporting the communities in areas where we build, and Wetherby 10k has proven to be a great example of community togetherness and spirit.”
