The free family fun day is being held on 29 August, noon-5pm, in its beautiful hospitality venue, The Wand and Tankard, St John's Centre, Leeds.

No booking’s required - families can simply turn up via the Hole in Wand’s garden next to St John’s Park, or the main entrance in the St John’s Centre.

Children will meet Grobblenook, the Hole in Wand’s playful resident gargoyle, and be entertained with games and crafts. Grown-up guests can relax and enjoy discounted drinks, including the venue’s signature potions.

The Hole in Wand’s Grand Supreme Wizard (and managing director) Stuart Jarman says: “Our Fun Day is the perfect way to round off an amazing summer. Families can take a seat in our amazing (and hopefully sunny) garden, where children can play, colour, and enjoy a magic potion, and grown-ups can enjoy discounted drinks too.”
