Principle Trust Children’s Charity celebrates 15 years with a special fundraiser in Leeds
The Principle Trust Children’s Charity is inviting Yorkshire businesses and the wider community to come together and celebrate 15 years of creating memories that last for children and families facing adversity.
A Night at the Seaside will offer a unique immersive experience on Saturday September 26 at the Queens Hotel, Leeds. Marking the charity’s 15th anniversary, the evening will celebrate the life-changing impact the charity has had on more than 6,000 children across Yorkshire.
Guests will be transported to the nostalgia of a traditional British seaside holiday, with an evening filled with music, enchanting circus performances, traditional seaside games and continuous entertainment designed to delight all the senses.
Attendees will indulge in a carefully curated three-course menu inspired by Britain’s coastal towns, complemented by sweet seaside treats and bespoke cocktails to honour the charity’s three holiday locations. Guests are encouraged to embrace the occasion with a Summer Evening dress code and enjoy the spirit of the seaside.
Since its launch in 2011 by founder Mike Davies MBE, the charity has provided essential respite breaks for children facing hardship. These breaks offer children and their families the opportunity to rest, reconnect and create precious memories together, something Arlo’s mum knows only too well. “As a family, we were pretty low, but watching the boys play on the beach, playing games together, and just laughing the whole time…it was just what we needed,” she said.
The anniversary event will raise vital funds and with the charity’s 100 per cent donations policy, every penny of profit from the event will go directly towards supporting children and families across Yorkshire, helping those facing some of life’s toughest challenges.
