Famous faces to appear with iconic cars at Sherburn-in-Elmet
A one-of-a-kind motoring roadshow will pull up near Leeds this summer where fans can meet their favourite TV cops and automotive personalities alongside incredible vehicles.
Cops and Cars 2026 will feature TV personalities from Channel 5 Police Interceptors, Motorway Cops, and ITV’s The Bill.

The event takes place at The Motorist in Sherburn in Elmet on Saturday August 1 2026.

Hosted by 1965 PTSD Awareness, a charity founded by former Channel 5 Police Interceptor Ben Pearson, the event will mark the return of one of the UK’s most exciting automotive and emergency services events.
Ben said: “This year’s event is set to be the biggest yet – bringing together an incredible mix of active police vehicles, emergency response units, iconic TV personalities, legendary movie cars, live displays and thousands of passionate automotive fans for an unforgettable family day out.”
From famous police interceptors and Roads Policing Units to fire engines, ambulance teams, and specialist response vehicles, visitors will have the chance to get up close to some of the UK’s most recognisable emergency service machinery.
Expect live demonstrations, vehicle displays, interactive attractions, meet-and-greets and exclusive Q&A sessions throughout the day.
Alongside the emergency services presence, the event will feature an incredible collection of automotive icons and movie vehicles including the legendary A-Team van, Knight Rider cars, Mad Max builds, classic police cars, American cop cars and much more.
Visitors can also explore displays from clubs, creators and specialist exhibitors including Leeds Super Car Meet, XR Owners Club, Anarchy Garage, Mental Health Motorbikes and AK Esports’ race simulator experience.
Ben added: “Whether you’re passionate about performance cars, fascinated by emergency services, a fan of police TV shows or simply looking for a fantastic family day out, Cops and Cars 2026 promises a packed day of blue lights, horsepower and entertainment – all while supporting vital PTSD awareness initiatives.”
