Halloween has come and gone, and the next big event on the calendar is coming up fast. Bonfire Night takes place this weekend, and many people in Leeds will be heading out to displays across the city. The bonus of Bonfire Night in 2022 is that it falls on a weekend, Saturday 5 November  allowing plenty more people to get out to displays that are taking place across the city.

One of the most important factors to check ahead of Bonfire Night (other than remembering to take your sparklers) is the weather. It was a cloudy Halloween across much of Leeds, and this weekend  looks set to be more of the same. Luckily, with no rain though.

The current Met Office forecast shows a small chance of rain on Saturday afternoon, but any chance of wet weather should fade away by the time  displays get underway. At around 9pm on November 5, temperatures could still be into double figures at around 10C  11C.

The rain should stay away for the rest of the night and well into Sunday morning. Leeds should see lots more sunshine on the day after Bonfire Night with a high temperature of potentially 12C.
