To celebrate the start of 2022, and commemorate four years in the business, the popular live music show is passing the keys to three artists this Sunday: Fiona Brice, Night Porter and Joe Semple - with the addition of event host and curator Simeon Walker alongside Leeds drummer Steve Hanley warming up the crowd.

Each musician focuses on their own musical style and genre, removing boundaries and allowing room for experimentation with sound in the intimate setting of the Brudenell's community room.

On the return of the sessions this weekend, organiser Simeon Walker said:

"I feel that [the sessions] are really quite unique and our lovely, loyal audience always enjoy the variety of music that is on show, are very supportive of all the performers, and the atmosphere at these shows is always warm, enjoyable and wholesome.

"It's such an honour to host them at Brudenell Social Club, one of the UK's most iconic and wonderful venues, and I'd love to invite people to come down and experience it if you haven't been before."

This weekend's session marks the 14th event the group has hosted so far, with another live show featuring British singer-songwriter Douglas Dare on the horizon in February.

The Brudenell Piano Sessions starts at 6.30pm this Sunday and runs until 10pm.

The event is pay-what-you-can, with tickets also available to reserve for free on the Brudenell's website.
