Channel 4 is looking for kids from Leeds for Junior Bake Off 2021 - here's how to apply

Applications for the seventh series, to be broadcast on Channel 4 are open to budding bakers in the UK and close on Sunday 28th March at 8.59pm.

Applicants must be aged nine or over on 1st June and younger than 16 on 30th September 2021.

Earlier this year, talented Zack Cohen, 14, from Oakwood, Leeds came sixth place in the junior competition.

Four winners of the Great British Bake Off have come from Yorkshire.

Amateur bakers are asked to submit an application describing their love for baking and their favourite thing to bake. They also need to submit a short video or photos of something they have made that they are most proud of.

Love Productions, who produce The Great British Bake off and The Great Pottery Throwdown, have said that audition dates will be subject to Covid-19 restrictions.

Children can apply via the website or post and must be available to film for 14-20 days from June to September 2021.
