The city of Leeds is levelling up.

Many changes are coming to Leeds - from new £650m hospitals to a mass transit system that will change the way we travel.

We have rounded up 11 of the biggest changes set to take place in the city.

A Leeds tram system connecting the city to Bradford is expected to be complete by 2028. Future phases of the network would aim to reach Wakefield, Kirklees and Calderdale.

Work is due get underway on a £100m revamp of Leeds Bradford Airport. The multi-million pound regeneration will see a 9,500 sq. mt., three storey extension to the existing terminal.

Construction of the new station is scheduled to be completed later this year and is expected to open in early 2024.
