Star duo called up as Wakefield Trinity 21-man squad named for Super League round 1

Former NRL ace Jazz Tevaga is poised to make his Wakefield Trinity debut this weekend.

The Samoan international, who can play at hooker or loose-forward, has been included in Trinity’s initial 21-man squad for Saturday’s visit of Toulouse Olympique in Betfred Super League round one. Tevaga, who played for New Zealand Warriors and Manly Sea Eagles in the southern hemisphere competition, wasn’t risked in last week’s Betfred Challenge Cup tie at Swinton Lions.
