Championship side Hunslet RLFC have signed a young half-back from a Super League academy.

Archie Wright, 18, graduated through Bradford Bulls’ system and also featured at reserves level in 2026, earning high praise from Hunslet coach Kyle Trout. “He is a young player with talent, a maturity beyond his years on the field and a fantastic work ethic,” Trout enthused.

“His tactical awareness and kicking attributes will provide great competition and depth in our creative roles. We look forward to seeing him develop further in a first-team environment here at Hunslet.”

Wright said: “I am really excited to be joining Hunslet and grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a great club.
