All Rhinos’ first-choice backs are fit and available and only forwards Tom Holroyd (knee), James McDonnell (hamstring) and Morgan Gannon (concussion/shoulder) remain on the casualty list. That means Smith has some tough decisions to make in the pack and on the bench as Rhinos seek just their third round one win since 2015. Here’s how Leeds could line up.
13. Loose-forward: Cameron Smith
Will lead the team out as official captain for the first time. Photo: Steve Riding
14. Sub: Jarrod O'Connor
Ever-present in almost two years under Rohan Smith's coaching, but expected to drop to the bench for the first time since round two last season. Photo: Steve Riding
15. Sub: Justin Sangare
Will probably be on the bench, to make his first Super League appearance since a foot injury ended his season last July. Photo: Steve Riding
16. Sub: Mickael Goudemand
There's competition for places on the bench, but Goudemand's experience might secure him a spot. Photo: Steve Riding
17. Sub: James Donaldson
Assuming there's no doubts in the backs and Smith opts for a bench of forwards, the veteran is likely to get the nod to come on in the middle of the field. Photo: Steve Riding
