Kevin Sinfield collected 28 points – from two tries and 10 goals – as Rhinos eased to a 60-12 win at lower division Leigh Centurions in a Challenge Cup quarter-final.

Ryan Hall also crossed twice and Leeds’ other try scorers were Rob Burrow, Danny McGuire, Lee Smith, Brent Webb, Ben Jones-Bishop and Shaun Lunt.

A crowd of 18,242 saw Rhinos slump 33-14 at home to Bradford Bulls.

Tonie Carroll and Rob Burrow were Leeds try scorers and Iestyn Harris kicked three goals.

1997

Paul Sterling and Phil Hassan both bagged a brace of tries in a 33-20 win over Salford at the Willows.

Iestyn Harris scored a try and four goals, Ryan Sheridan also crossed and Graham Holroyd landed a one-pointer.

1975

Leeds were beaten 12-5 at Headingley by St Helens in the first leg of a Premiership semi-final, Graham Eccles scoring their try and David Marshall adding a goal.

Saints won the second leg 21-4.
