Featherstone Rovers 46 Dewsbury Rams 18: Wildie nets hat-trick as Rovers overrun Rams

On-loan Leeds Rhinos three-quarter Harry Newman bagged a brace and winger Luke Briscoe continued his excellent record with the final try of the encounter.
Second-row Connor Farrell also got over the whitewash twice for Rovers with ever-dependable stand-off Martyn Ridyard landing seven conversions.

Hide AdDewsbury, for their part, had an encouraging first half, trailing by only four points at half-time.
But the 22-18 interval scoreline was only added to by the home side in the second half – good news for Featherstone coach John Duffy, but not so good for opposite number Neil Kelly.
The result leaves Featherstone third in the Championship table, level on points with second-placed Toulouse Olympique, who overran Barrow 50-4 on Saturday, and only one adrift of leaders Toronto Wolfpack, who were given a good run for their money by Batley Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.
Prop Jode Sheriffe, loose-forward Aaron Brown and centre Macauley Hallett scored the tries for Dewsbury, with Paul Sykes landing three goals.
